Access and Security

Telehouse® Europe clients have the assurance that only their authorised personnel have 24/7 access all year round. Whether to their shared facility area, dedicated equipment sector or even one of Telehouse's® custom-built environments, all visitors to our data centres are issued with a special proximity card that only permits them to access their own systems and equipment, and which creates a logged record of their movements throughout their visit

External and internal closed-circuit television cameras with time-lapse video guard against the possibility of intruders, allowing the in-house security team to maintain confidentiality throughout the site and surroundings.

State-Of-The-Art House

Multiple external power feeds to each Telehouse® facility are supported by UPS and generator backup, and each is maintained on a regular basis to give seamless power continuity under any circumstances.

Environmental sensors continuously report back to the state-of-the-art building management system, monitoring electrical and mechanical systems throughout, as well as keeping watch for fire and water leakage.

Dedicated cable ducting with easy access ensures instant equipment connection for clients both between themselves and with their preferred telecomms provider, via landline, line-of-sight microwave transmission and satellite link.
